Miranda Raposa is an artist and illustrator whose work focuses on the wildlife of the Rocky Mountains and national parks. Raposa has lived in both Western Montana and Central Florida for most of her life which has given her the diverse experience that has inspired her. The wonders of the biodiversity and geological marvels of both places have taught her so much about respecting the wildlife, the land, and the communities. She is a self identified “explorer” and has made it her goal to visit as many national parks and monuments as she can.This love of the outdoors has manifested itself in her body of work, as she aims to encourage my audience to appreciate natural beauty as much as she does. Raposa wants her art to inspire masses to love and appreciate this beauty in the same way she does, for a better chance at protecting these unique landscapes for many centuries to come.
